Please join our weekly activities virtually starting March 25, 2020. Our Welcoming message is posted on this page – below.
During this physical isolation time, it is important that we stay connected, connected to our friends, connected to God and His teaching. Let our faith replace our fear, let our prayers replace our worries.

We are a community that welcomes people from all walks of life including the LBGTQI community. You are welcome no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.
Each Sunday, we have two services: Mandarin service at 9:30 am and English at 10:30 am.
For both services, we have children church schools where we look at a variety of Bible stories that talk about how the love and care of God is evident.
In the near future we hope to have both services begin at 10:30 which would enable us to combine the Mandarin and English church schools.
Join us for refreshment and fellowship at our fellowship hall after the English service.
Music – We are blessed with a robust music program led by our music director. Music forms an important part of our worship and we incorporate modern and traditional music.
Communion – We celebrate The Lord’s Supper approximately 6 times a year. Check the calendar.
What to wear?
Please come to worship in clothes that you find comfortable. Some people come in suits or dresses, others in jeans and t-shirts.
Both worship services make use of projection screens for words, pictures, videos and live projection at the front of the church.
What do you believe?
We are drawn to the life and teachings of Jesus. We are Christian. We try to follow Jesus in the Way of Love and through Love we see and experience God. We are of the Presbyterian denomination of Christian followers. While at one time great stock was put upon denominations, those distinctions matter much less today. We strive to be a Presbyterian Church that is truly a Community Church.
We invite you to join in this community as we follow Jesus, hoping to create something beautiful in this world, through Love.
What is there for kids?
We have a variety of programs for young people. Our regular ones include:
• Nursery: Programme is offered Sunday from 11 am until noon upon request.
• Sunday School: which runs during the 11 am service.
• Vacation Bible Camp: Every summer we offer a one week programme for children ages 4 – 12 based on a Bible theme.
How do you protect vulnerable people and are you accessible?
We have a policy called Leading with Care that was developed by the Presbyterian Church in Canada. It includes such aspects as police checks, training, and having multiple adults involved in the delivery of programs. Click here to see the complete document.
The church is accessible.
What does UPC look like?
Please see our gallery.
How do I arrange rentals, baptisms, weddings and funerals?
Presbyterians baptize children because we believe that event signifies that God’s Spirit is engaged in the life of a child even before they can comprehend or name such activity. We also offer baptism for adults who have come to know Christ and want to serve Christ in their daily lives. Baptism is usually carried out once the family of a child or the adult seeking baptism has demonstrated a commitment to serving Christ.
Rentals of Space and Facilities
We are blessed to have rooms for large or small groups and can offer accommodation to many community groups and organizations. Feel free to contact our church office for rates and policies regarding the use of our building for charitable and non-charitable organizations.
Weddings and Funerals
We provide ministry beyond our own membership. Our desire is to offer a loving and caring environment in which people, going through major transitions in their lives, will feel supported and encouraged whether the occasion may be happy or sad. You are welcome to call the church office or The Rev. Marty Molengraaf to explore the next steps in proceeding with a critical event in your life.
